Our story

Hi there! I am Chelsea Vogel. I am the honored owner and operator of Good Morning Cafe. It has always been my dream to open a breakfast cafe and I am beyond excited to start this journey in my hometown. Some of my fondest memories are going out for breakfast with my Grandparents and making DIY breakfast menus for my family as a kid on holidays and other special occasions. It seems only natural to start doing this on a larger scale for the wonderful community of Millstadt. 

We started construction of the Cafe in February of 2021, which has been such a joy having the opportunity to work along side my Dad, Lee Vogel, in building my dream. The Cafe most definitely is a family effort though. Between testing out and perfecting my Mom's recipes, dragging my younger brother Brayden and my boyfriend Irepan into the Cafe to help carry in material, to building and designing every detail with my Dad. It truly has been a learning experience and the ultimate test of sibling love :) 

Good Morning Cafe offers a comfortable, family friendly atmosphere where everyone has a seat at the table. We believe in serving real food. Recipes that call for fresh vegetables to be chopped and wholesome ingredients to be added. Artificial and ultra processed foods cannot be found in our menu.  We are proud to partner with our local butcher, Schubert's Smokehouse, to bring the freshest and most delicious meats to the table.
